I've started a wiki for the Tech Services department! I had actually gotten an invitation to join the PBWiki back to school challenge, where PBWiki users could earn a free upgrade by earning points. So I attended an NSLS workshop, and signed up for PBWiki, and just this week got back to work on the EPL Tech Services wiki, and earned my 100 points!
Even though my wiki is not designed for public consumption, I'm hoping that the Tech Services wiki will be useful for all staff to have "reader" access to -- if only to know what it is we do to support public services, and why we do things the way we do. Look for an announcement soon!
Meanwhile, I'll be watching the Library Success best practices wiki -- lots of good links there for library technology (cataloging, digitization, etc.) that I'd like to follow.
